Keflex 500mg Capsule helps treat bacterial infections in ears, urinary tract, lungs, bones, soft tissues, and joints. It works by killing the bacteria to treat the symptoms of infection and heal it. The doctor will prescribe this capsule and will tell you the exact dose & duration. Do not skip the dose of this capsule. The dose depends on the treatment you are receiving for. Do not stop taking the capsule until you complete the treatment course as your doctor tells you. You may start feeling better before completing the course, but do not stop in between and continue to take it until you complete the course. If you stop early, the bacteria can live and infection can return. This capsule will not treat viral infections like the common cold and flu.
Some common side effects of this capsule include vomiting, rash, stomach pain, diarrhea, nausea, and indigestion. All these side effects are mild, but if they are worrisome or stay for long, inform your healthcare provider.
Before you start using this capsule tell your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems or if you are allergic to antibiotics. Inform your medical expert about other drugs you are using as they can affect this capsule or get affected by this capsule.

This capsule destroys the bacteria which cause infection in the body. It works great for bacterial infection of the skin, ears, soft tissues, and throat. You can see improvements within a few days after taking the capsule. But, continue using it until you complete the treatment course. Stopping the intake of this capsule early can bring the infection back and it comes difficult to treat it.
Keflex 500 (Cephalexin) is an antibiotic medication used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. The usual adult dosage for most types of bacterial infections is 250-500 mg every 6-12 hours, depending on the specific infection being treated. The medication should be taken with a full glass of water and can be taken with or without food.

This capsule can intervene with some lab tests which can generate incorrect results. So, tell the lab technician and the doctors that you are using this capsule.

Yes, using this capsule can result in diarrhea. It kills the infection-causing bacteria. This process impacts the good bacteria in your intestine or stomach and causes diarrhea. In case diarrhea stays for a longer period, speak to your healthcare expert.
Speak to your medical expert if this capsule doesn’t work for you. The medical expert may alter the dose of this capsule or prescribe an alternate medicine that may work for your better.
Tell your medical expert if you do not see any improvement in infection even after completing the whole treatment course. Tell him if the symptoms get severe while taking this capsule.
Please do not discontinue using this capsule and complete the whole treatment course even if you see improvement in the symptoms. Your symptoms will start improving before the infection heals completely.
The symptoms can appear again after a few days if you stop taking this capsule in between. The bacterial growth can occur again and the infection can come back.
